Who is NOAH’S ARC. (NAC)
It is a Christian based Non Government Organization operating in Kyenjojo and the surrounding Districts. It is working with the orphans and Vulnerable children, widows and the rural poor. It started with one Child and now 100 already registered and more than twenty families as of now.
It was founded by Kenneth Kabagambe who is at the same time working as the Project Director.
Our mission
l NAC exists to initiate and implement programmes aimed at fighting and eradicating hunger, poverty, illiteracy, and diseases and to enhance individual groups for organised and participatory initiatives for sustainable development in Uganda.
Our Vision
l The sole vision of NAC is to have an improved society, which is free from hunger, poverty, illiteracy, disease, and has a level of livelihood where everyone in a home is healthy, peaceful, and every one is key in income generating activities.
Our objectives
l To improve on subsistence production in order to reduce on poverty and modernize agriculture.
l To participate in health awareness campaigns with aim of coming up with a society with minimal exposures to diseases infections.
l To help children access schools by setting up a secondary school and taking care of their needs in fight to promote Education.
l To help communities participate in income generating projects with the aim of reducing the levels of those living under absolute poverty lines.
l To build capacity that give people access to social services and employment opportunities.
l To promote Peace, Human Rights, and Conflict Resolution in families.
l To undertake research that enables decision-making processes which are key to achieving better livelihood patterns and strategies.
l To provide a conducive home for the orphans and vulnerable children
